The Mino Ositah Workshop is a hands-on, culturally grounded experience where youth create meaningful items while learning teachings rooted in land, language, identity, and kisêwâtisiwin.

We can support youth in reconnecting:

Culture and identity

Creativity and confidence

Language and ways of knowing

A sense of belonging and wellbeing.

Responsibility and community

Through land-based inspiration, creation, and shared learning, youth are guided to make something good: With their hands, their mind, and their spirit. Language is woven throughout the workshop in key words, teachings and everyday terms that support youth reconnecting to language.

This work is for all of us
